Some local ladies will be making there way to Philadelphia this weekend to compete in the Howe Cup. This year there were enough participants to form two teams! There is a "B" level team and a "C" level team.
Those participating are:
B team: Anne Robertson, Kren McManus, Kitty Higinbotham, Anne Schwab and Nicole Kirchhof. C team: Beth Rasin (from New York, replacing Mini Jain who is out with a ruptured Achilles tendon), Sally Jean Tewes (from Chicago; Anne Schwab's sister), Amy O'Brien, Maria Puchol and Maddie Hunsicker. (Maddie will be "supervising" this group to make sure they stay out of trouble. :-) Unfortunately, also unable to participate this year but not out in spirit or the ability to "battle" the competition from whatever the source is our own MSA Secretary Anna Masellis.
Good luck ladies. Play hard. Play well. And most of all have fun!

Thank you MSA for your tremendous support of our team! It is quite an amazing feeling to stand in the midst of over 200 women and 12 squash courts and watch every type of squash game imaginable--the competition is fierce, and the love of the game is rampant.
